Instead of purchasing a completely separate power system for every tool, compatible WORX products use shared battery technology. How PowerShare Works

Start with a compatible WORX tool kit that includes a battery and charger, or select a tool-only product if you already own the correct PowerShare batteries. Insert the charged battery, confirm that the voltage and configuration match the product requirements, and you are ready to work.

Some higher-voltage tools use multiple 20V PowerShare batteries together. Always check the product page and instruction manual to confirm the required number of batteries, recommended capacity and included components.

PowerShare compatibility depends on the tool’s voltage, battery arrangement and model requirements. A product described as “tool only” normally does not include a battery or charger. A kit listing identifies the batteries and charger supplied. Review the “What’s Included” and specification sections before ordering, especially when adding a tool to an existing battery collection.

Battery Care

For dependable performance, charge batteries with the recommended WORX charger, store them in a cool and dry location, and keep contacts clean. Avoid exposing batteries to excessive heat, water or impact. When a battery reaches the end of its useful life, use an approved battery recycling program rather than household waste.
