I have now had this mower long enough that the 3 year warranty has expired, and I have never needed to invoke warranty service. In all that time , I have had only 3 problems.
The first is that while the patented cord control system functions reasonably well much of the time, if you happen to step on the power cord, the end of the bar on which the cord travels from side to side will bend and pop out of handle. You can bend it back and replace it, but after a while it gets looser and looser.
Secondly, I discovered, after about a year of using the mower for an hour and a half every week, that the large plastic thumbscrews that hold the handle tightly in place tend to back off over time. Unfortunately, you don't notice this until one of them falls off, and you lose the carriage bolt somewhere in the lawn. (see photos 1 and 2).
The last is that the foam tube that slips over the handle for comfort slips, slides, and eventually splits (see photos 3 and 4). It looks to be a major tear-down and rebuild job of the handle to replace this part.
These are minor annoyances that in no way detract from the convenience of a mower that starts first time, every time, never runs out of gas, and leaves no residual odor of gas fumes when I'm done mowing. It is so nice to kick back with a beer and breathe deep of just the smell of new-mown grass, with no lingering exhaust smell. And it is nice, too, to be able to run the mower at 7:00 am without disturbing the neighbors.
Features I've never used.
Castoring front wheels. You can't get a manicured stripe look if you don't mow in straight lines
Mulching attachment. My grass grows too fast for me to be able to leave clippings lying, even mulched.
Side discharge. Same issue as mulching.

Perfect for us!
After reviewing multiple lawnmowers we finally decided upon this one. Im a veteran with bad shoulder and my partner is a cancer survivor who cannot tolerate heat or heavy physical activity. The old lawnmower we had was hard to start and messy to deal with maintenance wise. We have a medium sized yard with a mix of thick clover and grass. This lawnmower was perfect! It was light enough for either of us to push and easy to start. The cord took a min to get use to but I ended up kinda tying it around me out of the way. I haven’t used the mulch feature but it was just what we needed for mowing the lawn. Easy to clean. Only complaint I guess is sometimes the bag was a bit difficult to remove.
