When I need to do projects, it's so much easier to just pick up the tool and go do the job. No running extension cords or finding a place to plug them in. Drills are nice that way, but the reciprocating saw is an absolutely must have tool. I use it frequently in the shop, but when I have to trim trees around our property, I don't have enough cords to reach the farthest trees. I just grab the saw, the blades and a battery, and go do the job. Well, I usually take an extra one just in case. I always have blades for wood, metal and tree trimming, whatever the job takes. I can't say enough good things about the tool.
